May was STAR TREK Month! To celebrate the release of the new Star Trek reboot film, and to recognize the character-building impact of the original series on which it’s based,
the May MONTHLY FEATURE presented 6 segments that covered some important “Star Trek” episodes, and the character-building lessons they present. In addition, Star Trek Trivia and links provided further information about the original show and its vast impact.
But if you’re not letting your cursor hover over the pictures, you’re missing out on most of the fun, including funny captions, links to the original episodes online, previews for the Star Trek Remastered series and the new film, and links
to rare interviews with creator Gene Roddenberry and the original “Star Trek” cast! (As an example, hover your cursor over the large pic on the upper left and the Star Trek movie poster pic to your right.)
The “Star Trek” tribute concluded with a Weekly Blog on another tribute episode of “CSI”, discussing how a murdered TV producer got it wrong when he said there are no heroes today like those of the fictional “Astro Quest” series.
Another blog questioned whether some members of the church got it wrong on American Idol. While more warm-hearted Blogs featured Kenny Chesney’s song, “Don’t Blink”, reminding us not to take for granted the time we share with family and friends, and
we celebrated Mother’s Day with a picture of my beautiful wife holding our 3-month old daughter, Abby.
LLAP! (Live Long and Prosper!)
